Sweeping HARD for Heart & Stroke

The river trail is being groomed for the Ironman Outdoor Curling Bonspiel being held on February 8, 9, and 10, 2013. The organizers have set their sights high to be the biggest outdoor curling bonspiel in Canada; however, they must first exceed 64 teams to take this title. There is no minimum or maximum skill level, it is a FUN-raiser after all, everyone is welcome.
Over the years, the Ironman Outdoor Curling Bonspiel has raised over $40 thousand for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Volunteers have been dedicated to this cause and this year is no exception. This year's event is dedicated to a former colleague and friend, Don Nixon, who lost his life in October 2012.

Along with the best curling experience in Winnipeg, the entertainment doesn't stop there. Musicians will entertain the crowd on Friday and Saturday evenings, welcoming curlers and guests throughout the evening.
Teams are encouraged to register online at ironmancurling.com or by calling (204) 831-8816.
